So I wanted to fill you in on the latest Sytsma happenings. There's been a little change in plans for our upcoming months. It's a few parts scary and a few parts exciting at the same time. It seems that I will be gaining a bit of weight for a new role that I will be acquiring... playing the part of "Kate" in 'Motherhood Part III'. I was approached by an independent film producer who wanted to do a documentary on the wife of an Andrew's Sports Medicine fellow. Like the smart women they are, the wives of the other fellows turned him down. I, however, decided that my already hectic life with a husband who is MIA during football...needed a challenge. Plus the pay was so fantastic, I couldn't turn him down. The only catch, the weight gain, and, oh yea, I have to feel gross for a few months. Ok, just kidding... But, we do have an Alabama surprise arriving sometime in early May. Yes, it was a surprise. No, I didn't need one more thing on my plate, but God has a way of rearranging our little plans doesn't He? We really are EXCITED to be adding to our family! Children truly are a blessing and it will be fun to have a 'Bama baby. I (we), however, would appreciate your prayers as this has been quite overwhelming to me in particular.

Wow! You sure do have a lot on your plate, Lady! My mom actually was speculating it. She mentioned yesterday that she heard Desirae say to someone (right after they were talking about babies), "Did you get the email from Katie?" Mary, being the spy that she is :), thought she may be onto something. Well, anyway. You are definitely in our thoughts and prayers as the new 'Bama Baby starts preparing for his/her debut in May. You'll do great. You're both wonderful parents, and you make some cute kids. :) CONGRATULATIONS!!
