Yup. Sassy is exactly how I would describe my darling 4 1/2 year old lady. Sassy and stubborn. While it's probably no mystery where she got these qualities to those who know her mother, her behavior has been especially trying as of late. If anyone has any tried and true parenting tips to pass along to one exasperated mom, they'd be appreciated.
I wish I had pictures to post today. We had a nice time at the zoo today with some neighbor friends, but, of course, when I pulled out the camera, the battery was dead! It was a nice thought.
We've had some very long days at our house lately. Mark is still working a lot and life gets to be mundane for me sometimes. I'm trying to be grateful for the little things, but am having a hard time.
Today I'm thankful for the wonderful men and women who serve in the armed forces. I appreciate their sacrifice and love for their country. I'm grateful, too, for the courage and sacrifice of these soldiers' families! What a blessing to live in a free country.
On a very insignificant note, I'm also thankful for the old school grilled cheese I'm eating (white bread, kraft american cheese...). Come on, I'm pregnant. Let me have my moment.
