San Francisco

Mark and I returned last weekend from a delightful trip to San Francisco.  Mark attended the AAOS annual meeting, and I tagged along!  We definitely fit in a lot of fun--and Mark did learn some things too!  A BIG thank you to the Grandpas and Grandmas for taking good care of the kids while we were away.
The start of our limo ride to Napa.  We did so much in San Francisco, but most of our pictures ended up being of Napa.  I promise we didn't have a wine glass in our hand the ENTIRE trip.
 The ladies at Artesa Winery.

We spent an afternoon exploring with Jim who came up from Southern California.  It was nice that he had a vehicle to take us around in.  We stood on the Golden Gate bridge and got some great views of the bay.
Saturday evening Jim took us to the Cliff House overlooking the ocean.  Beautiful scenery, and the seafood was amazing.  Best meal I've had in a long time!
We went to the Tonga Room in the basement of our friends' hotel.  We were told there was a tiki bar downstairs that we needed to check out---oh my goodness.  Tiki bar was complete with water, floating boat/stage, thunder, rain.  Felt like we were in the tropics for the evening.
We had a wonderful time catching up with Mark's residency classmates and their wives.  So much fun to see everyone again!  We definitely missed the Zebroski's who were home in Wyoming this year!  Next time Jer and Jess--we need a full reunion :).

Our trip to Napa included a delicious picnic lunch.  Here we are enjoying our lunch under the olive trees at Ehler Estates.   The weather could not have been more beautiful!

The victorian row houses were like pieces of art.  Anyone remember the introduction to the TV show "Full House?"

 Scenery in Napa.
