Annika had her first soccer game of the season last night, and, well, let's just say the Purple Dragons had fun! The other team consisted of some very large 5 year olds where Annika's team consisted of several small 4 year olds. They creamed us. But, as I said, our little people had a blast! Annika started the evening by bursting into tears when a boy from the other team stole the ball and blew past her. I thought it was the end of any hope to get Annika back on the soccer field. However, with a lot of pep talks and one very patient coach, our little lady played the entire second half...with a smile on her face!! Hooray.

Man...she looks like she is getting so old so fast! Soccer! That one of her doing warm up drills - just makes her look like she is 9 years old :)
We miss you tons! I wear your jeans often and think of you! I wish I would have bought your black dress!
