Vail

Mark and I were able to get away for a fews days without the kiddos.  We headed to the mountains of Colorado to do a little learning (Sports Med Conference for Mark), some catching up with great friends from residency, and some skiing to find out just how old and out of shape we are :).  We have great parents who enjoyed spoiling the three Sytsma babes while we enjoyed spoiling ourselves with dinners out, skiing, and a little shopping for Kate (special thanks to Val for making the long trek to Silverthorn for the day!).  The skies were blue, the snow was white, and our noses turned a little red from sun and wind!  We loved every minute of it!  We already miss our friends and need to start planning our next getaway (to the beach, right ladies?!).
